HR faithful raise your voices

HR parents and players, this is your team!

When the score passes 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 or 100 points, have the courage to raise your voice, "hey coaches enough is enough".

When the invitation comes next year to the St George Rugby tournament, and the import players are not in place because it is so early in the season, raise your voice, ............... "we want to participate and build a comradeship with the other teams and players."

When somebody suggests that the team should do the Haka a second time as an exclamation point, because your winning by 40 points, raise your voice, "this is not an appropriate use of the Haka."

What are the coaches supposed to do when they have cleared their benches by half time and their second and third string players are still scoring? Do you ask the ref to call the game? What do you do if the other coach doesn't want to? Do you take your players off and forfeit? What are your recommendations? 50 or 60 points, but 70+? I don't remember that happening for quite some time, let alone this season.

Happy to answer your questions, but please tell us who you are and how your connected to HR. Are you on the team a coach parent etc. I don't have time to communicate with anonymous individuals, not productive at all. Much better when you can see the other person on the other side of the table.

I have seen the way you bash people, so I have preferred to keep my full name anonymous. I can tell you however, that I do not and have never played (obviously I'm a girl), my brothers have all played for HR, and I have been involved over the years with fund raisers etc. This team has done wonders for my brothers, and has been an important part of my family because of it. All I would like to do is present real information about things you are blogging about. Highland needs defenders, especially when you write about things that I know for a fact are not true. For example- your big issue with blowing out teams. I am assuming one of the examples you are referring to the game last year against Davis. The first XV were out within 10 minutes of opening kickoff, the rest of the game was played by reserves, 2nd and 3rd string players. The HR coaches asked the Davis coach if he wanted to call the game early in the second half, and he declined. Did you know that? How can you attack a team when you don't have all the facts? That's where I'm coming from. You weren't there, I was.
