Highland barely beats the St George Knights in only the 5th game of their inagural season.

The St George Knights are an amazing story given the fact that this is the first year this club has competed. Of the 30 or more boys on the team only one player has any rugby experience. The rest is an eclectic mix of football, tennis, baseball and soccer players, wrestlers, skateboarders and a few that have never played any competitive sports.

These warriors walked on the field and played head to head with the Highland juggernaut and the boys from New Zealand.

First year club against Highland with 18 national championships under their belt.

They kept the score under 100 and under 50. (48 -0 )

48 points is all the points Highland could squeeze out against these new rugby warriors playing in their 5th game ever. This is an amazing story.

You want to talk about guts, determination, team work, athletic talent, fine coaching and the real meaning of Kia Kaha.............................. talk to the St George Knights.

These young men are my heroes!!

did you watch the interview at the end of the game?? not one kind word about the other team....all me me me we are the best....we we we we...no humility no gracious victor...

Larry wonders why no one gives Highland due respect... this is one of the reasons....plus everyone except the Highland parents knows about the kiwi import mystery.

Also not one word of thanks to the amazing "invisible" boys from New Zealand, unstoppable back line...just use them and send them home on the plane...

Have you seen any of his interviews? He always gives credit where credit is due. Another thing can you please respond just once without using the word "kiwi" or "import" or some form of those word? It seems all you talk about it how highland cheats and brings these players in. I've talked to larry and other coaches in person many times and the "kiwi imports" pay there own way up and have never had any other contact with larry prior to coming to utah. But your probably right he goes down there and hands picks them usually from birth. BTW 48-0 is not close and they put there second players in at half time.
