Highland 18 United 17

Perhaps the best game of rugby many have ever seen. Congratulations to both teams.

Yesterday the black planet met its equal.

Rumor has it that Highland will be practicing 2x's a day, six days a week to find that 100 point edge.

That rumor is false. One practice a day 5 days a week.

United is just as good or better than Highland. Period. As the sport of rugby gets bigger here in the U.S. I think we will start to see Highland's losses go up. Not saying that they're bad because it's obvious that they're not, but I believe that as more contenders in the sport appear Highland, United, and all the other teams will face harder competition. United vs. Highland on May 1st could easily have been one of the greatest and fiercest games played anywhere. Can't wait for nationals.

I tend to disagree with you there Spencer. I am neutral as a parent of a child who plays on neither United or Highland. As much as I would like to see more competition in Utah to face the like of Highland (which United did very well!), I feel that Highland were the better team overall, but they shot themselves in the foot with all the dropped balls and mistakes. Highland could have and should have scored at least 3 more tries. That is my personal opinion anyway... Would you not agree? I do agree however, that the quality of competition is raising all the time and new teams are developing like never before. Rather exciting eh? I can't wait for nationals either - hope both teams make it through to the final again. It will be a great spectacal for Utah rugby.
